Transfer of heavy weapons to the borders of Baneh and Oshnovieh

 On Friday, June 12, the Revolutionary Guards transferred heavy Katyusha and artillery weapons to the Oshnovieh and Baneh borders.

 According to an informed source, the Revolutionary Guards have deployed these weapons at the border posts.

 This informed source added: "The creation of new bases on the borders of Kurdistan has been done based on the approval of the IRGC Defense and Operational Council in the western region of the country."

 The informed source stated: This action of the Revolutionary Guards is in line with the militarization of Kurdistan and to counter the activities of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government.

 In recent years, the Revolutionary Guards have increased the volume of weapons and military equipment sent to Kurdistan.
