The prison sentence of an environmental activist was reduced in the Sanandaj Court of Appeal

 Kurdish prisoner Saber Ghaderi from Dehgolan who sentenced to 6 years imprisonment was reduced to 3 years in Branch 4 of the Sanandaj Court of Appeals.

 The final verdict of the Court of Appeals has been notified to this environmental activist in recent days.

 This member of the "Green Association of Lilax" was sentenced in June of this year by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj, headed by Judge Saeedi, was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment on charges of "membership in a Kurdish opposition party" and 1 year on charges of "propaganda against the regime."

 On Wednesday, September 2, Saber Ghaderi's Court of Appeals convened in Branch 4 of the Sanandaj Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Mostafa Tayari, and his 5 years imprisonment sentence on charges of "membership of a Kurdish opposition party of Iran" was reduced to 28 months imprisonment. and his 1 year imprisonment sentence was reduced to 8 months in prison on charges of "propaganda against the regime," and the 28 months imprisonment of this environmental activist is applicable under the Consolidation of Sentences Act.

 This Kurdish activist was arrested on Monday, December 9, without  court order by the intelligence forces, and after three months of detention, he was temporarily released on a 200 million Toman bail.
