Seyed Mohammad Hosseini was sentenced to 40 years in prison and exile in Urmia Prison

 A Kurdish citizen named "Seyed Mohammad Hosseini" from Naqadeh was sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad to 40 years in prison and exile to Urmia Central Prison on charges of "Moharebeh" for being a member of a Kurdish opposition party.

 According to an informed source, today, Tuesday, May 25th, this citizen was summoned to Naqadeh prison and this sentence was officially notified to him.

 The last trial of this citizen was held in May of this year in the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad, presided over by Judge Javad Gholami.

 Seyed Mohammad Hosseini was previously a member of one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government. After returning to Iran on January 9, 2018, he was arrested by security forces and is currently being held in Naqadeh Prison.
