Printing of “Kurdistan and the Kurds” by Dr. Ghassemlou was banned in Turkey

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): The Turkish judiciary issued a decree prohibiting the publication and printing of \"Kurdistan and the Kurds\" written by Dr. Abdol Rahman Ghassemlou, the Kurdish nation’s charismatic leader and two other works on the history of Kurdish people.
According to reports received by our agency, the Turkish judiciary has imposed a ban on printing and publication of three historic works including \"Kurdistan and the Kurds\" written by Dr. Ghassemlou, the Kurdish nation’s prominent leader.
The decree has been issued in a Turkish court in the Kurdistan of Turkey on which printing and publication of \"Kurdistan and the Kurds\" by Dr. Ghassemlou, “Kurdish National Movement” by Chris Kochera and “The Kurds’ Revolution” by Jalil Jalil is forbidden.
In the introduction, Dr. Ghassemlou, author of \"Kurdistan and the Kurds\", says that the main aim of the book is to introduce two words of Kurdistan and Kurd to the readers. The book is an economic-political study in which the author reviews the history and geography of Kurdistan.
The book was originally written in 1957 and was ready to be published in 1962. In 1963, “Pub. House of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences” in Prague published it in Czech.
The book has also been translated into English twice and printed by a well-known center in London.
The book was translated into Arabic from its English version in 1967; the translation was printed in Lebanon Printing in Beirut, Lebanon in 1970.
In 1969, “the book and science Publication” in Warsaw, Poland printed and published “Kurdistan and the Kurds” in Polish.
