Eslamabad-e Gharb; Arbitrary Detention of Two Kurdish Citizens of Shabad; Kamyar Rashidi and Meysam Chabok

Saturday, February 21, 2026; two Kurdish citizens from city of Eslamabad-e Gharb (Shabad) in Kermanshah Province, named “Kamyar Rashidi” and “Meysam Chabok,” were arbitrarily detained by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

Security forces have not yet provided any reason for these detentions, and since the moment of detention, no information regarding the fate or place of detention of these two citizens has been available. They have also had no contact with their families.
