Kurdish Political prisoners are deprived of furlough over Norouz holidays (the Iranian New Year)

KURDPA - The prison authorities in the majority prisons located in the Kurdish regions notified to the political prisoners that they have no right to request for furlough.
Based on a report by KURDPA news agency\'s correspondent, typically with the approaching of the New Year and Norouz holidays, the prisoners with regard to the General Office Directions of Iranian prisons may write requests for using of furlough.
But it is reported that in the Kurdish areas prisons, political prisoners have been notified by the prison authorities to refuse writing any requests for leaving, while the furlough was granted to the other criminals such as drug abusers and etc.
KURDPA reporters and several others of family members of political prisoners from different cities of Kurdistan Province have disseminated this report.
