September 21, 2026 — Over recent days, Ali Osloub, a Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr, was shot and killed without prior warning by Ministry of Intelligence forces while riding his motorcycle. Following the extrajudicial killing, security forces forcibly disappeared his body, informing his family that his remains will not be returned to them.

An informed source confirmed the incident to Kurdpa, stating: “On the evening of Thursday, September 17, 2026, Ali Osloub, a 35-year-old Kurdish citizen from Kileh Sepan village in Piranshahr, was riding his motorcycle on a road near Jaldian village when security forces opened fire on him without warning, striking him with multiple bullets and killing him. Security forces subsequently seized his body and subjected it to enforced disappearance.”

According to the source, upon inquiring about his fate, Ali Osloub's family was informed by the Piranshahr Prosecutor that their son had been killed, his body was in the custody of the Ministry of Intelligence, and it would not be handed over to the family.

Following the killing of this Kurdish citizen, the Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement on September 20, 2026, announcing the killing and arrest of several individuals across three provinces without revealing their identities. Regarding the incident in Piranshahr, the security agency reported the death of an individual in an ambush set by the "Unknown Soldiers of Hidden Imam" without specifying his name. Additionally, several state-affiliated media outlets published blurred photographs of a body.
