General strike in the cities of Kurdistan in protesting to murder of Zhina Amini
Today, Monday, September 19th, guilds and marketers of most cities of Kurdistan went on strike and closed the market and stores of the city following the call of political parties and civil organizations in protesting to murder of Gina Amini.
Guilds and bazaars of the cities of Baneh, Oshnavieh, Divandarreh, Saqez, Sanandaj, Kermanshah, Naqdeh, Sardasht, Dehgolan, Mahabad, Javanrud, Bokan, Piranshahr and Marivan are on strike in protest against the murder of Zhina Amini and so far the threats of the administration of places and security institutions to reopen the units has been fruitless.
At the same time as the general strike in the cities of Kurdistan, protesters in Divandarreh came to the street in protesting to murder of Zhina Amini and chanted slogans such as "woman, life, freedom" and "don't be afraid, don't be afraid, we are all together". .
The protest gathering of the citizens of Divandarreh turned into violent with the intervention of the security and anti-riot forces, and the security and anti-riot forces shot at the protesters.
By sending a short text message to the trade unions and the bazaars, the administration of places and security institutions in Bokan threaten them to refrain from joining the general strike in protest against the murder of Zhina Amini.
Also, the administration of Samat and Chamber of Guilds of Bokan has threatened the marketers to take action against the economic trade union and if they do not reopen the trade union and join the general strike in protest against the murder of Zhina Amini, they will be dealt with according to the law.
The private clothing forces in Mahabad also pressured the guilds and shopkeepers to reopen the guild units, but the guilds and shopkeepers rejected this request of the private clothing and joined the general strike in protest of the murder of Zhina Amini.
After the start of the general strike in protest against the murder of Zhina Amini, the police forces searched the bodies and mobile phones of the citizens in Azadi (Iqbal) Square, Sanandaj, and according to an informed source, the Sanandaj Premises Administration threatened guilds and shopkeepers that if they do not reopen trade unions and join the general strike, their trade unions will be sealed.
