Baneh; Detention of a citizen by security forces
On Tuesday, October 19th, a Kurdish citizen named Sharif Amini, 37, son of Ahmad from the village of Shui in Baneh, was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
Security forces arrested the citizen without issuing any court order, and his family's efforts to find out about his fate has been fruitless so far.
So far, no exact information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Mr. Amini.
On Sunday, August 23, 2020, the citizen was arrested without any court order by the security forces, and on Sunday, September 13th of the same year, he was temporarily released on bail of 100 million Tomans.
After his arrest in September 2020, the Kurdish citizen was transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center for interrogation, and was later sentenced by the First Branch of the Saqez Revolutionary Court to eight months in prison on charges of "membership of a Kurdish opposition party of the Iranian government."
