Arrest of two brothers in Mahabad

 On Wednesday, September 16, two Kurdish citizens named "Salar and Saman Ghazali" from the village of "Birm" in the Khalifan district of Mahabad were arrested by intelligence forces and taken to an unknown location.

 According to an informed source, intelligence forces arrested these two citizens, who are brothers, without showing  court order.

 The informed source stated: the intelligence forces searched the family home of these two citizens and confiscated some of their personal belongings.

 The informed source added: "Despite the follow-ups of the families of these two citizens during these 10 days, no information is available about their condition."

 The informed source stated: the intelligence forces have arrested these two citizens on charges of collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government.

 As of this writing, no information is available on the fate or whereabouts of the two brothers.
