Arrest of three Kurdish cultural activists in Eslamabad-e-Gharb, Kermanshah
Kurdpa Agency: Three Kurdish cultural activists from Eslamabad-e-Gharb, in Kermanshah province, were arrested by intelligence forces.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Sunday, December 15th, Intelligence forces raided the personal homes of three Kurdish cultural activists named "Sohrab Moradi, Dariush Moradi and Ahmad Basati", after searching their houses, intelligence agents arrested and taken them to unknown place.
Sohrab and Dariush Moradi are co-authors of the "Hasarea" cultural-literary website, and Ahmad Basati is one of the Kurdish poets of Eslamabad-e-Gharb who has published several his poetic works.
An Eslamabad-e-Gharb based cultural activist told the Kurdpa Agency the reason for the arrest of the three cultural activists: These three were arrested on charges of organizing protests in support of Rojava and condemning the Turkish military attack.
In October of this year, Kurdish citizens held rallies in most Kurdish cities in support of Rojava after the Turkish army invaded Rojava.
