Arrest of another cultural activist in Eslamabad-e-Gharb, Kermanshah
Kurdpa Agency: Another Kurdish cultural activist was arrested in Islamabad city (Shabad) in Kermanshah province.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Tuesday, December 17th, intelligence agents arrested a Kurdish cultural activist, Anisa Jafari Mehr, in Eslamabad-e-Gharb.
Intelligence forces raided this cultural activist's home without any legal permission and arrested her after searching her home and seizing some personal stuff, including books, laptops and cell phones.
Anisa Jafari Mehr is a master student in linguistics at Kurdistan University.
No information is available on the whereabouts and the reason for arresting of this Kurdish cultural activist.
In this regard, on Sunday, December 16th, Ako Jalilian, a prominent Kurdish writer, researcher, linguist, and folklorist was arrested by intelligence forces and taken to an unknown location.
Also on Sunday, December 15th, intelligence forces raided the personal homes of three Kurdish cultural activists, Sohrab Moradi, Dariush Moradi and Ahmad Basati, in Eslamabad-e-Gharb and detained them and transferred them to an unknown location.
