A medical commission will be established for those who have injured by chemical weapons

Kurdpa agency: Group of medical consultant, will be traveling to Sardasht. This is the first medical aid for the victim of chemical warfare after 28 years.

According to Kurdpa news agency a medical commission will be soon established to provide further medical treatment for those who have sustained injuries from a chemical attacks back in 28/06/1987. This medical team is based in Tehran the capital of Iran.

This medical panel will be in Sardasht by the end of next week. In addition this team of medical experts are 20 people and will be staying in Sardasht for two days.

According to the Governor of Sardasht this medical team has received more than 1450 files for consideration.

Sending these medical experts to Sardasht has been confirmed by Mehr news agency. The institutes for protecting victims of chemical weapons has declared that Currently more than 10000 people in Sardasht have potentially claimed to be sustained from previously chemical attack.

Last year team of medical experts were sent to Saradasht to provide medical treatment for victims of chemical warfare, however in practice they did not take any action.

Technically chemical substances and subsequent biological effect of these substances will be remaining within the body of victims as well as environment for a period of between 70 and 100 years.

Sardasht was attacked by Iraqi fighter jet that was carrying chemical bombs. In addition it took less than a month for 140 people before losing their lives.
