A Kurdish student was transferred to Marivan Prison to serve his sentence

 On Wednesday, May 27, Kazhvan Azadegan, a student at Payam-e-Noor University in Marivan and an environmental activist from the village of Yangijeh in Marivan  was transferred to the city's prison to serve his sentence.

 This Marivani student was arrested by security forces on Saturday, May 18, 2018 on charges of "collaborating with a Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government" and was released on bail on Wednesday, May 22, 2018.

 This Kurdish citizen was sentenced by the Marivan Revolutionary Court to one year in discretionary imprisonment on charges of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government," which was commuted to two months' imprisonment in the Sanandaj Court of Appeals.
