A Kurdish political prisoner was sentenced to death for the second time

 Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish political prisoner from Oshnavieh was sentenced to death for the second time by the Urmia Revolutionary Court.

 According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, Mahyadin Ebrahimi, a Kurdish political prisoner from the village of "Alkawi", Oshnavieh, was sentenced to death for the second time by the second branch of the Urmia Revolutionary Court.

 This political prisoner was summoned to social work of the Urmia Central Prison on Saturday, January 18th, and the sentence was announced to him.

 The death sentence of this political prisoner was violated by the Supreme Court in March 2019 and his case was referred to the second branch of the Urmia Revolutionary Court for retrial.

 The case was being held in the second branch of the Urmia Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge "Sheikhlo" and he has been sentenced to death again for "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties".

 According to a source familiar within the Urmia prison, the political prisoner is in poor physical condition.

 This political prisoner was wounded and then detained on November 3rd, 2017 after shooting by Iranian government troops.

 This Kurdish political prisoner was transferred to a hospital in Urmia after being wounded and then transferred to the Seyyed al-Shohada Corps Intelligence Detention Center in Urmia on charges cooperating and membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government. 

 On August 20, 2018 the trial of Mayhadin Ebrahimi was held in Branch Two of the Urmia Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge "Sheikhlo" without access to a specific lawyer.  He had been formally sentenced to death on charges of cooperating and membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government. 

 in 2010, this Kurdish citizen was arrested on charges of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties" and was released from prison after serving his sentence.

 Also in 2017, the brother of this Kurdish political prisoner, Nouradin Ebrahimi, died as a result of direct firing by government troops while doing kolbari.

 This married Kurdish political prisoner is currently being held in Ward 4 of the Urmia Central Prison.
