Kurdpa agency: Two brothers named Hussein Danishmand and Dr Hasan Danishmand whom had been arrested by Revolutionary Guard intelligent service in November this year in the Iranian Kurdistan, were transferred to the central prison in Sanandaj.

As stated by Kurdpa News agency, Hussein Danishmand has been sustaining kidney haemorrhage since he was interrogated in the Revolutionary Guard headquarters in Sananadaj. Although he has been suffering from a sever pain however he was not taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment. Further to this report he also sustains an excruciating pain but apart from tranquilizer, he has not been given any other form of medical attention.

According to the same report Hussein Danishmand is 41 years old retailer and Hasan Danishmand 43 years old General Practitioner were arrested in August and October 2016 in Mariwan and Tehran respectively. They were then transferred to Sanandaj.

They have allegedly been charged for political activities. Since no trial has been held, therefore their fates are still remained in limbo.

These two brothers were arrested by intelligent service while they were visiting their family on March 18th 2016 in Baneh. Although they were initially released after a few weeks interrogation, however after a short while Revolutionary Guard intelligent service accused them of affiliation with Kurdish political parties and once again arrested them.

Hasan Danishmand was living with his family in Tehran and he was practicing Medical Doctor. Hussein Danishmand was a retailer in the border region, therefore he was visiting Iraqi Kurdistan on regular basis and this might be the reason why he was accused of affiliation with Kurdish opposition parties in Iran. Although the legal case against these brothers is still open in Revolutionary court, however no trial has been held so far.

They have been denied access to lawyer and legal advice; so far they have been able to visit their family once in the presence of officials.
