September 14, 2026; Amjad Amini, father of Zhina-Mahsa Amini, two days ahead of the fourth anniversary of his daughter's state-sanctioned killing, published a message writing: "Four years have passed, but your grief has neither aged nor stilled for even a moment. During these four years, we have thought many times that we had one daughter and they took her from us; yet the affection of the people brought thousands of other children into our family."

He further emphasized: "For a mother and father who have lost their child, time holds a different meaning, and certain griefs never shrink. Nevertheless, we believe that the sealed secret you and all beloveds resting in this land hold will not remain hidden forever, and your name and memory will remain with us until our last breath."

In recent days, he has continued his call for justice by publishing photographs of his daughter, as the Islamic Republic, four years after her state-sanctioned killing, has not only failed to hold anyone accountable but continues to deny responsibility.

The verbatim text of Amjad Amini's message is as follows:

"My precious Zhina, four years have passed, but your grief has neither aged nor stilled for even a moment. To us, you remain the same angel who, with every smile and every look, drew the gentle hand of destiny across our lives.

In these days, we think of you more than ever; in times that grow bitter with each passing day and where hope grows dim, our hearts are bound above all to the dreams of youths like you. What would you be doing if you were among us today? Would we still see that same passion for life in your eyes? Would you still speak of tomorrow and weave dreams for the days ahead?

Dearest Zhina, to us, you were first and foremost our daughter—a daughter whose arrival gave a different color to our lives, and whose departure left a wound on our hearts that no word has the power to express. Yet your fate unfolded in such a way that your name extended beyond our small home.

In these four years, we have thought to ourselves many times that we had one daughter and they took her from us; yet the affection of the people brought thousands of other children into our family. Amidst all this suffering, one thing we will never forget is the empathy and affection that multiplied among the people of this land.

My dear Zhina, for four years we have carried the emptiness of your absence with us every single day and hour. Sometimes a photo, a memory, a glance, or even hearing your name is enough to bring everything back to life before our eyes from the very beginning. To others, four years may have passed, but for a father and mother who lost their child, time holds a different meaning. Certain griefs do not shrink with the passing of days; one simply learns how to carry them.

Through all these years, however, we have kept one tear-filled eye fixed upon the earth and another on the day truth comes to light. We believe that the sealed secret you and all beloveds resting in this land hold will not remain hidden forever.

Dearest Zhina, my precious daughter, your name and memory will remain with us until our last breath.
O Lord, what secrets lie within the chest of this earth!
No one is aware of all these hidden truths.
