Number of Arrests in Bukan Reached 6 People: Loghman Ghorbani and Mohammad Hajizadeh Were Also Arrested

August 15, 2026; In the continuation of the wave of arbitrary and mass arrests of Kurdish citizens in the city of Bukan, two other Kurdish citizens named "Loghman Ghorbani" and "Mohammad Hajizadeh" were arbitrarily arrested and transferred to an unknown location. Kurdpa had previously published the news of the arrest of "Omid Chaobaz", "Sedigh Karimi", a former political prisoner, "Hadi Azizi", a civil activist, and "Shawaneh Divazi".

According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; on Thursday morning, August 13, 2026, "Loghman Ghorbani", a Kurdish citizen from the city of Bukan, was arrested by security forces without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

Additionally, another 23-year-old Kurdish youth from "Gawmish Goli" in the district of the city of Bukan named "Mohammad Hajizadeh", son of As'ad, was arrested by security forces on Friday, August 14, 2026, and transferred to an unknown location.

Until the time of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest and possible charges against these Kurdish citizens, and security forces have offered no explanation in this regard. Furthermore, these Kurdish citizens are deprived of the right to access a lawyer, family visits, and telephone calls.
