Bukan: Arbitrary Detention of Shawaneh Divazi and His Transfer to an Unknown Location

August 13, 2026; Early morning today, Thursday, August 13, 2026, around 3:00 AM, security forces of the Intelligence Office raided the home of "Shawaneh Divazi", a Kurdish citizen from the village of "Sarchnar", without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him. Following his arrest, this citizen was transferred to an unknown location.

Shawaneh Divazi, 44 years old, is married and the father of three children.

Until the time of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest and possible charges against this Kurdish citizen, and security forces have offered no explanation in this regard.

In the official divisions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the village of "Sarchnar" is considered part of the district of the city of Miandoab, but many residents of this region consider the village to be part of the district of the city of Bukan.
