Mahabad؛ Avat Sadeghnia (Sargoli) Was Released After 83 Days of Arbitrary Detention Upon Depositing a Heavy Bail

June 10, 2026; On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named "Avat Sadeghnia (Sargoli)" from the village of "Kuseh Kahriz" surrounding the city of "Mahabad" was temporarily released from the prison of this county after 83 days of arbitrary detention upon depositing a bail of 10 billion Tomans.

According to an informed source, this citizen was transferred to the prison of the city of "Mahabad" from a security detention center after the completion of the interrogation phases, and during his detention, he was deprived of access to a lawyer and meetings with his family.
