According to available accounts, a portion of the stationed personnel consists of forces from "Hashd al-Shaabi" and "Hezbollah," comprising Iraqi and Lebanese nationals.
An informed source, confirming these reports, told Kurdpa: In recent days, widespread checkpoints have been established on the main routes connecting Sanandaj to Marivan along the "Garan Janavar" path, Marivan to Saqqez via "Basam and Ka Nemat," and the Marivan-Kamyaran road along the "Dagaga and Zhrizheh to Palangan" route. These checkpoints have been set up for the purpose of controlling and searching citizens and vehicles, utilizing laser-scanning systems to thoroughly inspect every passing car.
According to this source, a segment of the forces operating these checkpoints consists of "Hashd al-Shaabi" and "Hezbollah" members who are Iraqi and Lebanese nationals.
