May 2, 2026; During the past few days, Yousef Kolonkzadeh, a Kurdish language translator and instructor from Urmia, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa, security forces arrested this Kurdish language instructor without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
The informed source added: This Kurdish citizen was transferred to an unknown location after his arrest and has thus far been deprived of access to a lawyer and visits with his family.
