Varamin; Erfan Alizadeh, 24-Year-Old Kurdish Youth from Ilam Among the Victims of Direct Gunfire

January 14, 2026; The identity of another of those killed in the popular protests in the city of “Varamin,” Tehran, has been confirmed for “Kurdpa” as a 24-year-old youth named “Erfan Alizadeh,” from the city of “Lomar,” a suburb of Ilam Province.
According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” “Erfan Alizadeh” was from the city of “Lomar,” a suburb of Sirvan County in Ilam Province, who was killed during the popular protests in the city of Varamin in Tehran by direct fire from military-repressive forces.
It is not clear on what date he lost his life, but it is probable that he was killed by government military forces on January 8 or 9.
