Maku: Kurdish Artist Hassan Ahmadi Arrested by Security Forces

On the morning of Sunday, April 27, 2025, Hassan Ahmadi, also known as "Hassan Ranas," a Kurdish artist from Maku County, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to an informed source, security forces raided the artist’s residence without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him.
The same source added that during Mr. Ahmadi’s arrest, security forces also searched his home.
Hassan Ahmadi is an active member of the Maku Cultural and Artistic Center.
