Mohammad Salehi was injured by gunfire from government forces at the Baneh border

On the evening of Saturday, April 12, 2025, a Kurdish civilian named Mohammad Salehi, from the village of Bikesh in the Baneh region, was seriously wounded by gunfire from government forces at the border of this county. He is currently in the intensive care unit under medical supervision.

According to a source who spoke with Kurdpa, government military forces opened direct fire on this civilian without prior warning at the Zaleh border crossing in Baneh.

The source added that Mohammad Salehi sustained severe injuries to his head and back due to gunshots fired by the government forces. He is now hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Sanandaj.

Mohammad Salehi is married and has children.
