A well-informed source confirmed the news to Kurdpa, stating: "More than three weeks ago (late June / early July 2026), Fereydoun Mostafaei, a 23-year-old footballer from Saqqez, was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location."
