Three Kurdish Citizens Released on Bail from Mahabad Prison

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, three Kurdish citizens from Mahabad — Osman (Shawaneh) Jahani-Far, Yousef Qal, and Rahman Dana — were temporarily released from Mahabad Prison after posting bail.

These individuals had been transferred to Mahabad Prison following the completion of their interrogation process.

On December 15 and 16, 2024, they were arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant, following raids and searches of their homes. They were then taken to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation.

So far, no specific information has been released regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges brought against them.
