Execution of a prisoner from Salmas in Ardabil Central Prison

On February 18, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner named "Iraj Paki" from Salmas County was executed in Ardabil Central Prison.

According to an informed source, this Kurdish prisoner was arrested six years ago on charges related to "drug" crimes and was later sentenced to death by judicial authorities.

Iraj Paki is the son of Haj Tabrizi from the village of "Setonresh" in Salmas.
