Continued detention and lack of information about the situation of Yaser Hosseini

Yaser Hosseini, a Kurdish citizen from Kamyaran, despite the passage of 17 days since his arrest, is in detention and incommunicado.

An informed source told Kurdpa that even after Yaser Hosseini's arrest seventeen days ago and the family has repeatedly requested updates from the legal and security departments, the concerned parties are still refusing to give a definitive response regarding his circumstances. This has caused concern for his family and relatives.

The informed source added: that Mr. Hosseini has been deprived of access to a lawyer and meeting with his family so far.

On February 12, security forces arrested this 25-year-old young man at his workplace without presenting a judicial warrant and resorting to violence.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest, the charges, and the place of detention of this young Kurd.
