The story of the funeral leaflets of four Kurdish political prisoners / without a cemetery and mosque address

22:57 - 2 February 2024

The funeral leaflets of four executed Kurdish political prisoners indicate another layer of government repression against them, first of all, none of these four people had been handed over to the families so that the address of the cemetery could be written on it and show the location of their graves.

Second, there is no address of the mosque on it like other funeral leaflets, because the security agencies have prevented the holding of funeral ceremonies for these executed political prisoners in mosques.

Third, none of the funeral pages that are active on social networks for each of the cities, published addresses for the funeral of these executed political prisoners, because they are under repression and government obstruction.

All these cases fall into the category of human rights violations and imposing double suffering on the families of these victims, and the Islamic Republic's repressive apparatus is the commander and agent of it.

On Monday, January 29, 2024, four Kurdish political prisoners named Mohsen Mazloum, Vafa Azarbaz, Pejman Fatehi, and Mohammad Faramarzi were executed after 19 months of forced disappearance.

On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, a widespread strike was held in many cities of Kurdistan to condemn the execution of four Kurdish political prisoners and the people sympathized with the families of the executed political prisoners.
