Asad Mohammadi was transferred to Sanandaj prison to serve his sentence

On February 6, 2024, Asad Mohammadi, a civil activist from Sanandaj, was arrested and transferred to Sanandaj prison to serve his sentence after being summoned to the branch of the criminal court of the public and revolutionary court of this city.

Previously, this civil activist had been sentenced to one year of imprisonment by the first branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on charges of "propaganda against the system".

On the night of July 24, 2024, security forces raided Mr. Mohammadi's house in the "Vilashahr" neighborhood of Sanandaj without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him without presenting a judicial warrant.

This civil activist was temporarily released on bail after completing the interrogation process.

On August 12, 2024, Bahar Ahmadi, the wife of Asad Mohammadi, was arrested by security forces and transferred to the detention center of the Sanandaj Intelligence Office.
