Naghdeh; arrest of two citizens by the security forces

In the early morning of January 17, 2024, two citizens named "Khalil Rasoulzadeh" 36 years old from the village of "Shavoleh" in Naghdeh, and "Aziz Halkhali" son of Qahraman resident of Naghdeh were arrested by the security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

According to an informed source to Kurdpa, the security forces raided the house of Khalil Rasoulzadeh at 4 am without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him.

The informed source added: Also, the security forces raided the house of Aziz Halkhali without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him.

Aziz Halkhali is married and has two children.

At the time of publication of this news, there is no information available on the reason for the arrest and the charges against these two Kurdish citizens.
