Bokan; Ra'uf Sheikh-Ma'rufi, Kamran Soltani, and Mohammad Faraji were accused of "corruption on earth" and threatened with execution without access to a lawyer
Ra'uf Sheikh-Ma'rufi, Kamran Soltani, and Mohammad Faraji, three citizens of Bokan who were arrested by security forces during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi, were accused of "corruption on earth" without access to a lawyer.
According to an informed source to Kurdpa, these people, who have been deprived of access to a lawyer during 10 months of temporary detention, have been charged with "corruption on earth" and threatened with execution.
The informed source added that the government has appointed a lawyer for these three detainees, but neither they nor their families know who these lawyers are and if the court time is informed to the family, the families can see the lawyer.
The informed source of Kurdpa says the security and judicial authorities have opposed the temporary release of these three detainees and refrained from issuing a bail order.
These three citizens were transferred to the detention center of the intelligence office of Urmia after being arrested for interrogation and the security forces tortured them physically and mentally to force them to confess and accept the charge of "participation in the murder of one of the security forces" in Bokan.
Ra'uf Sheikh-Ma'rufi was arrested on December 26, 2022, Mohammad Faraji on February 22, 2023, and Kamran Soltani on February 27, 2023, without presenting a judicial order by the security forces.
These three citizens were transferred to Bokan prison on June 10, 2023, after completing the interrogation stages and have been living in this prison with a temporary detention order ever since.
