Continued detention and lack of information about the fate of Sayad Darvishi

There is no accurate information about the fate of Sayad Darvishi, the brother of Farjad Darvishi, one of the martyrs of the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in Urmia after his arrest.

According to an informed source, this citizen has been deprived of access to a lawyer and meeting with his family so far.

The informed source added: The follow-ups of the family and the frequent visits to the security and judicial institutions in Urmia to find out about the fate of Sayad have been fruitless.

The informed source stated: The security forces threatened the Darvishi family to refrain from interviewing the media about the situation of their child.

The lack of information about the fate of Sayad Darvishi has increased the concern of his family and relatives.

In October, security forces arrested Mr. Darvishi without presenting a judicial order in one of the streets of Urmia and transferred him to the detention center of the Urmia Intelligence Department for interrogation.

So far, no accurate information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Sayad Darvishi.

On September 20, 2022, Farjad Darvishi, 23, from the village of "Balu" in Urmia, lost his life as a result of the shooting of the security forces - the oppressor during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in the Valiasr town of Urmia.
