The Arrest of Zakaria Karimi, brother of Ayoub Karimi, a prisoner of conscience executed by security forces

On November 27, Zakaria Karimi, brother of Ayoub Karimi, a prisoner of conscience that executed, was arrested by security forces in Sardasht.

According to an informed source, security forces arrested this citizen in the city of Sardasht without presenting a judicial warrant.

This informed source added: that Zakaria Karimi was transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Office detention center for interrogation and has been deprived of access to a designated lawyer, phone calls, and visits with his family.

This informed source said: On November 23 security forces also raided Mr. Karimi's home in Mahabad arrested him with violence and tortured him severely in the Mahabad Intelligence Office detention center.

Zakaria Karimi is the son of Omar, married, and has four children.
