Sanandaj/ Mikael Menbari was sentenced to six years imprisonment
A Kurdish citizen named "Mikael Menbari" from the village of "Niar" in Sanandaj was sentenced to six years of suspended imprisonment by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of this city.
According to an informed source, the court has accused this citizen of "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government" and "propaganda against the regime".
This informed source added: This verdict was handed to Mr. Manbari recently. According to this verdict, Mikael must present himself to the Sanandaj Intelligence Department every four months until the end of the suspension period and he is not allowed to leave the country
On June 29, 2022, Mikael Menbari was arrested by the intelligence forces without presenting a judicial decision.
On the 27th of August 2022, Mikael was transferred from the IRGC intelligence detention center to Sanandaj prison. On September 13, 2022, Mikael was temporarily released from Sanandaj prison by posting bail of one billion and four hundred million tomans until the end of the proceedings.
One other time in July 2020 Mikael was arrested by security forces and released after 4 months.
