On the 8th of October 2022, the anniversary of the government assassination of Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar due to the torture of Sepah intelligence forces during the revolutionary uprising of Jin, Jiyan, Azadi in Saqqez
In October 2022, Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar, a 39-year-old resident of Saqqez, was killed as a result of being beaten by Sepah intelligence forces during his arrest and detention in the detention center of this security institution in Saqqez during protests in Saqqez. While the cause of Mr. Dezvar/Dezdar's death is written as "unknown" on his death certificate, the Sepah forces had informed his family that their son had died as a result of "heart rupture" in a car accident.
On the 17th day of the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom) revolutionary uprising, following the government murder of Jina-Mahsa Amini, widespread protests erupted and most cities in Kurdistan and Iran were scenes of protests. The Islamic Republic suppressed the protests from the first days with gunfire and committed 32 government murders in Kurdistan from September 28 to October 17, 2022.
Kurdpa has reported on the anniversary of the government murder of Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar on how he was killed by Sepah intelligence forces due to being beaten during his arrest and detention in this security institution's detention center.
How Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar was killed by the government;
Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar was driving a gray Peugeot belonging to his sister, he was moving towards Silo from the Khorsidi square when he reached the scene of the protests in front of Seyyed Khalil's shop, below the intersection of Farhangian Street.
According to an informed source, Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar was driving normally on the other side of the boulevard where Sepah's facilities and intelligence forces were stationed. Sepah's intelligence forces sprayed pepper spray towards his car and caused him to lose balance. After this action, two Sepah officers collided with his car and according to eyewitnesses, suppressive forces pulled him out of the driver's side window and began beating him on the street. Then they transferred him to the Sepah intelligence detention center located on Enghelab Boulevard in Saqqez.
According to an informed source, after a quarter of an hour at the Sepah Intelligence Office, Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar was transferred to the "Shafa" hospital with the Sepah Intelligence Office car. The hospital supervisor refrained from accepting him because they realized that he'd been dead for 10 minutes. but they were forced to take him to the resuscitation department. However, the efforts of the doctors did not yield any results.
The informed source adds that Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar's body was then transferred to the morgue and his father and sister, whose car plate was in his name, were summoned to the Sepah Intelligence Office. They were told that their son had died as a result of a "heart rupture" in a car accident that led to his chest being broken and his body is in the hospital, which they must go there to identify. In the hospital, the family was forced to sign papers as heirs of Mr. Dezvar/Dezdar of being informed of the incident. Then Mr. Dezvar/Dezdar's father is transferred to the morgue by several Sepah security forces for identification.
From threatening, pressuring, and detaining family members to executing detainees' relatives for silence and citing "car accident" as the cause of Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar's death in obituaries;
According to an informed source of Kurdpa in this regard; the Sepah Intelligence Office along with Saqqez Governorate and Prosecutor's Office transferred his body from the hospital to forensic medicine. When his family gathers in front of forensic medicine, Sepah facilities and intelligence officers warn his family that if any kind of information is provided, his brother-in-law, "Zaniar Hossein Zadeh", who was arrested by Sepah intelligence forces on that day, will be executed tonight.
In continuation of forcing the family into silence, in less than 20 minutes, Ismail his body was transferred to Aichi Cemetery in Saqqez and buried by Sepah intelligence forces.
According to this informed source, in continuation of the pressure on the family, Ismail his father, and his uncle were transferred to the Sepah Intelligence Office that night and they were threatened that it must be written in the obituary that Mr. Dezvar/Dezdar had died as a result of a car accident.
The pressure and threats on Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar's family continued to the extent that suppressive government forces prevented the holding of his 3rd, 7th, and 40th-day mourning ceremonies. On the fortieth-day ceremony, suppressive government forces also entered Ismail Dezvar/Dezdar's father's house and forced him to confess that his son had died as a result of a "car accident" by resorting to violence.
