September 29, 2026 — Over recent days, two Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr, identified as Matin (Ebrahim) Rasouli and Ayoub Hamzeh, were temporarily released from Naghadeh Prison on multi-billion-Toman bails after enduring 37 days of arbitrary detention.

An informed source confirmed the news to Kurdpa, stating: "On Monday, September 21, 2026, Matin (Ebrahim) Rasouli and Ayoub Hamzeh—who had been transferred to Naghadeh Central Prison following a month of detention and interrogation in security detention centers—were temporarily released on bails of 1.5 billion Tomans and 2 billion Tomans, respectively."

Throughout their arbitrary detention prior to their transfer to Naghadeh Central Prison, both individuals were systematically denied access to legal counsel, family visits, and telephone calls.

On Sunday, August 16, 2026, Ayoub Hamzeh and Matin (Ebrahim) Rasouli were arrested without a judicial warrant during security force raids on their homes in Piranshahr and transferred to an undisclosed location.
