Weekly Report: 30 cases of Human Rights Violation at Iranian Kurdish Areas During the 1st week of September 2013

For the sake of revealing human rights violation, Kurdistan Press Agency attempts to issue and publish a report twice a month under the name of ‘Perspective of the Week’

In the 1st week of September 2013, in the report of “perspective of the week”, Kurdistan Press Agency tackles 16 cases of Human Rights Violations at Kurdish areas which 4 cases of killing and injuring Kurdish citizens by direct shot of Military forces, 2 cases of bad condition of political prisoners, 2 cases of leaving the country compulsory and the continuing pressure on Kurdish activists, a case of execution, 6 cases of detention and sentence to be imprisoned and one case of death because of mine in Kurdish areas.



Killed or wounded Kurdish citizens

Investigating the latest published reports about chasing, killing, wounding and direct shooting on Kurdish citizens by Iranian forces:

On Friday 1st of September 2013, a 16 years old Kurdish weight holder whose name was “Ashad Rahman poor” on the border of Shabadeen was severely wounded by the direct shooting of Iranian forces.

Depending on the latest revealed reports this person is kept in Bana hospital.

On the other hand, because of chasing Kurdish citizens by armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran led to killing and wounding three.

30 of August, as a result of chasing 3 kurdish citizens by military officers near to “Kuhpich” led to conversing their car and the death of 2 of them.

Based on the information from a source the government forces on suspicion of carrying contraband materials were chased Hamid Goorahdar citizen in Bana prosecuted. In this event his daughter and a person whose name was Ismaeel wee died.

In this accident he was severely injured and under medical treatments in Bana Medical center.

Based on recorded statistics in Kurdistan Press Agency, from the beginning of this year till now, due to direct shooting by military forces 22 Kurdish citizens were killed and 51 more were injured which is explained in the following diagram:





Political Prisoners’ Conditions

Checking the latest published news about Kurdish Political Prisoners’ conditions in Islamic Republic of Iran during the first week of September till now:

Afsheen Sohrabzade 23 years old who lives in Kermashan in Sanandaj revolutionary court accused of fighting against their interest and membership in one of oppositional parties was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment and exile to Minab prison. He was transferred to Bandar Abass hospital and instead of being treated, he was threatened. As a result he was no more sent to hospital.

This Kurdish political prisoner on 10th of September 1010 on his way from Sanandaj to Seqiz was detained by security forces and after Interrogations in Kamyaran Information Administration, moved to Sanandaj central prison. Later, in the second branche of the Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj on charges leveled by the opposition parties and members of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was sentenced to 25 years in prison with deportation to jail Minab.

On the other hand, news tackled the transferring “Namiq Mahmood” a Kurdish political prisoner from Rajaee shahir prison to Sanandaj Information Administration.

Based on recorded statistics in KurdPA, from the beginning of this year till now, 22 kurdish prisoners went on hunger strike and 164 more were moved to solitary jails and other prisons.



Leaving Country Unwillingly:

Published reports of the forced expulsion of Kurdish civil activists and their families continue to put pressure in the Kurdish areas:

Pressure of the Iranian government security agencies, on “Faiq Ghariby” the husband of women\'s rights activist “Shaida Qawamy” from the city of Sanandaj surpassing strange to be forced to leave the country.

Faiq claimed that she left the country due to the continued pressure on the Iranian regime\'s security forces, she was forced to leave the country.

Shaida Qawamy following a trial in the city of Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on charges of \"propaganda against the regime, acting against national security and underground group of women,\" and sentenced to five years in prison after enduring four years released.

In Continuation of Pressure on Kurdish Activists

In Marivan Intelligence Agency during the last days taken away the degree and documents of a political activist “Muxtar Ahmedy” who was obliged to flee the country as a result of pressure and suppression by security forces. After a long demand to return his documents have got no answer.

Based on the recorded statistic in KurdPA, from the beginning of this year until now, 10 kurdish political and cultural activists were left the countryas a result of security forces continues pressure was forced to leave Iran which is shown separately in the diagram below:



Executions

Investigating the latest published reports on performing executions on Kurdish citizens at Kurdish areas during last week:

The sentence to death was to be performed on a Kurdish citizen in Dizel Abad prison whose name was “Gharib Morady” from Pawa city after enduring 5 years in prison.

According to statistics recorded in the center of Kurdistan news agency, from the starting of this year until now, 20 prisoners have been executed in the following diagrams are discussed separately:

Arrests and passing death sentences

Investigating cases of arrests and passing death sentences of Kurdish citizens at Kurdish Areas:

On Saturday 2nd of September, when a citizen called \"Sirwan Yasamani\" from Naqada town to in accusation of carrying the flag of Kurdistan was arrested by security forces of Islamic Republic of Iran and was transmitted to prison.

Also, last week, Iranian security forces seek illegal entry into the homes of two people named \"Anwar Rozjang\" the child of Ahmed najar and \"Timor Nazareth\", and were arrested and transferred to the Bureau of Intelligence in Sanandaj.

On the other hand, on Monday, 4th of September, a labor activist called the \"Jalil Mohammadi,\" was summoned to the prosecutor.

Jalil Mohammadi on May 12 this year with a labor activist named \"Hamid Mahmoudi Race\" by agents of the Intelligence Ministry arrested and spent 62 days in detention in the intelligence department was released on bail of 50 million.

In Continuation of Arrests and passing death sentences

According to reports published in early July this year a cultural activist called \"Manuchehr purdil\" the son of Mahmoud was arrested based on the decision of Mahabad Revolutionary Court sentenced to 3 years imprisonment and six Months imprisonment.

The sixteenth of March 2013 a member of the Association of Iranian Writers in Mahabad arrested and held in solitary confinement for 11 days after the deposit of 60 million and was temporarily released.

On the other hand, on Monday 4th of September, a Sunni cleric called \"Salam Gulnavaz\" was sentenced to six years in prison by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The continuation of passing sentences to be performed on Kurdish citizens:

Also, last week, an appeals court ruled Kurdistan Province for two years and four months imprisonment on charges of \"communicating with one of the opposition parties and undermine the independence and integrity a political activist named\" Mohammad Ghavami \", confirmed.

Earlier on February 2008, he spent three months in detention, and was released on bail of 50 million toman.

According to news recorded in Krdpa center from the beginning of this year so far 167 people have been arrested by the military and security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Also, according to recorded reports at the same center from the beginning of the year so far, a total sentence of 678 years and 9 months imprisonment for 100 people, a 20-year suspended prison sentence, a year of deported and fined USD for citizens have been issued.

Checking the latest reports issued by the landmine victim remains of eight-year Iran-Iraq war in the past week:

The fourth of September this year at Haramanat Heights border the remains of mines during the Iran-Iraq War, \"Faraidoon Karimi,\" Muhammad\'s son was died.
