Two Peshmergas from Komala lost their lives in a clash with the IRGC

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): The Military Commission of Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan issued a statement on an armed clash between its Peshmerga force and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s force.
In a statement, the Military Commission of Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan confirmed an armed clash between its Peshmerga force and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s force in Mariwan.
“On Saturday, 25th of August, a group of Komala Peshmergas, in returning from carrying out their mission, was ambushed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military forces; unfortunately, two Komala Peshmergas, Arsalan Jozak and Parwiz Abdi, lost their lives in the way of Komala’s and the Kurdistan liberation movement’s high goals”, read the statement.
In July last summer, a clash took place between the Komala Peshmerga’s forces and the IRGC’s forces, leaving three Peshmerga dead.
As a left wing and socialist organization, the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan officially declared its existence after the Iranian revolution in 1979.
