Kurdpa: The whereabouts of three Kurdish political prisoners are still unknown for four years following their arrest.
Jamil Barez, Shahed Bahrami and Aso Mirzaie were rounded up on May 28, 2008 in the city of Mariwan by the agents of the intelligence section of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and without any news of their whereabouts since their arrest.
Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran have reported quoting the family of the three prisoners that the family members have been visiting various regime centers and enquired about their whereabouts, with no positive responses as of yet.
The three were arrested while returning to the city of Mariwan following their escape from the country due to the mounting maltreatment and the repressive behaviour of the security forces, the source reported, and they have not been heard from or seen ever since.
