September 23, 2026 — In the early hours of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, a 28-year-old Kurdish Kolbar, Mohammad Seddiq Owli, son of Hamid, from the village of Anjir Bous in Salas-e Babajani county, lost his life after being directly targeted and shot by Iranian state military forces in the Sheikh Saleh border region.

An informed source told Kurdpa that military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran opened fire at the young Kolbar without prior warning.

The source added that the Kolbar's body was transferred to Javanrud Hospital and will be laid to rest in his hometown.

Mohammad Seddiq Owli was married and the father of two young children, Arta and Aysan.
