The victim of land mine explosion in Mehran died

Kurdpa agency: One of the five children who had been injured after landmine explosion in the border region in Mehran, died in Taleqani Hospital in Ahwaz.

According to Kurdpa news agency 19 days after landmine explosion in Kenjan Cham castle district of Mehran, today this child, named Muhammad Hadi Malekiyan died as a result of injuries from the explosion. The extend of body burn of this child was 60%.

The Iranian state correspondence ISNA, has reported the death of primary school child in Amirabad, the district of Mehran.

The funeral of this victim will take place today March the 20th and tomorrow 21st in Siwan District.

Previously the medical team had announced that, as a result of this explosion Muhammad Hadi’s left ankle had been amputated during the course of explosion. They also said his right leg could have been amputated as well.

Five students while were playing games after school hours in Kenjan Cham district of Mehran (border region) were severely injured. This was due to the explosion of undischarged landmine left over from Iran-Iraq war. This incident took place on Monday evening, on 11th March.

Kenjan Cham castle is located 15 km North of Mehran situated in Ilam –Mehran Road on the way to Karbala.
