Bukan: Violent Arrest of Younes Hassan-Khan and Transfer to an Unknown Location

July 21, 2026; On the afternoon of Tuesday, July 21, 2026, "Younes Hassan-Khan," a Kurdish citizen from the village of "Ebrahimabad" in the functions of Bukan, was violently arrested by intelligence security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location. To date, there is no information regarding his fate or whereabouts.

An informed source confirmed the news to Kurdpa, stating: "This afternoon, several vehicles belonging to intelligence security forces raided the 'Ala Shin' area of Bukan, specifically near the farmland between the villages of 'Ebrahimabad' and 'Rahim Khan.' They arrested 'Younes Hassan-Khan'—also known as 'Younes Haji Taha'—while he was watering his crops. The arrest was accompanied by physical assault and carried out without presenting a judicial warrant, after which he was taken to an unknown location."

As of the publication of this report, the reasons for the Kurdish citizen's arrest and his fate remain unknown, with security forces offering no explanation regarding the matter.
