Summonses and arrests continue, dozens Kurdish citizens detained in two days

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): Iranian Intelligence Service put dozens of Kurdish citizens under arrest following the Kurdish people’s Public strike on the 12th of September.

Our agency has previously reported of dozens arrests took place in several cities of Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan). Several others have been arrested by the Iranian Intelligence Service.

All of the detainees have been arrested arbitrarily, according to reports from our correspondents.

Their identities are as follows:

- Khabat Zandi, son of Khaled
- Rashad Zandi, son of Khaled
- Moslem Saiidpour
- Ayoub Jawanpour, from Saqqez
- Parwiz Faqhihi, from Bokan (Bookan)
- Simko Sedqhi, from Bokan
- Diyako Dabaghi, son of Rasoul, from Bokan
- Bahman Ddansaz, from Sardasht
- Mohammad, from Lailana village in the city of Sardasht
- Mohammad Amini, from Swerwa village in the city of Sardasht
- Wafa, from Jabrand village in the city of Sardasht
- Mohammed, from Jabrand village in the city of Sardasht
- Khedir Dawlati, from Shno (Oshnavieh)
- Mousa Azari, from Shno
- Siamand Dawlati, from Shno
- Yousef Tankhah, from Shno
- Soran Daneshwar, from Mariwan
- Moslem Bahrami, from Mariwan
- Aram Fathi, from Mariwan
- Dler Rawshan, from Mariwan
- Mohammad Azkat, from Mariwan
- Mohammad Tabira, from Mariwan
- Ahsan Partawi, from Mariwan
- Nawshirwan Koshnazar, from Mariwan
- Aram Amani, from Mariwan

In Rawansar, two Kurdish activists, Edris Moradi and Adel Moradi were summoned and interrogated.

On September 12, 2018, Kurdish people went on public strike. Following the Iran’s missile attacks and the execution of three Kurdish political prisoners on the 8th of September, the Cooperation Center of Iranian Kurdistan’s Political Parties called on Kurdish people in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan) to stage a general strike in Iranian Kurdistan.

By closing their shops, people in major cities including Sna (Sanandaj), Urmia, Sawlawa (Saroabad), Saqqez, Bokan (Bookan), Bana (Baneh), Pawa (Paweh), Kamyaran, Sadasht, Piranshar (Piranshahr) and Shno (Oshnavieh) answered the call.
