More military equipment deployed to Urmia, Special Forces patrolling in public places in Sna, Curfew imposed in Shahoo

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): More Special Forces of the Iranian Police Force were deployed to almost every corner of the city of Sna (Sanandaj) particularly in public places.
According to reports received by our agency, today, Wednesday, the 3rd of October, Special Forces of the Iranian Police Force were established all across Sna.
“These armed forces are seen patrolling in public places of the city such as streets and main roundabouts”, a source told Kurdpa.
In another event, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) dispatched heavy military equipment from the cities of Diwandara, Sna, Kamyaran and Kirmashan (Kermanshah) to border regions of Kurdistan. They deployed more troops as well this morning, October 3.
Based on the IRGC’s statement published today, they claimed they was to begin a military exercise in Shahoo regions in Kirmashan province.
According to the statement, the IRGC has imposed curfew from today until October 10, 2018. Mountainous regions such as Haniya and Gooziban, and all the Shahoo pastures from Dewznaw to Pir Khedr Mountain will be under the curfew.
On Monday, the 1st of October, the IRGC deployed additional military equipment such as tank and Katyusha rocket launcher to border regions of Urmia province with the aim of “confronting the Kurdish opposition groups’ activities against the Iranian government”.
The Iranian Government has a security approach and has employed suppressive methods to “tackle to problem of Kurdistan”.
