Mass arrests of Kurdish citizens following the Kurdish people’s Public strike

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): Iranian Intelligence Service arrested couples of Kurdish citizens following the Kurdish people’s Public strike on the 12th of September.

All of the detainees have been arrested arbitrarily, according to reports from our correspondents.

In Sardasht, five Kurdish citizens have been arrested: Bahman Ddansaz, Mohammad, from Lailana village, Mohammad Amini, from Swerwa village, Wafa and Mohammed, both of them from Jabrand village.

Diyako Dabaghi, son of Rasoul, has been arrested and transferred to an unknown whereabouts by the Iranian Intelligence forces in Bokan (Bookan).

In Shno (Oshnavieh), four Kurdish citizens were arrested: Khedir Dawlati, Mousa Azari, Siamand Dawlati and Yousef Tankhah.

In Mariwan, nine persons were arrested whose name are as follows: Soran Daneshwar, Moslem Bahrami, Aram Fathi, Dler Rawshan, Mohammad Azkat, Mohammad Tabira, Ahsan Partawi, Nawshirwan Koshnazar and Aram Amani.

On September 12, 2018, Kurdish people went on public strike. Following the Iran’s missile attacks and the execution of three Kurdish political prisoners on the 8th of September, the Cooperation Center of Iranian Kurdistan’s Political Parties called on Kurdish people in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan) to stage a general strike in Iranian Kurdistan.

By closing their shops, people in major cities including Sna (Sanandaj), Urmia, Sawlawa (Saroabad), Saqqez, Bokan (Bookan), Bana (Baneh), Pawa (Paweh), Kamyaran, Sadasht, Piranshar (Piranshahr) and Shno (Oshnavieh) answered the call.
