Death of son of prominent Iranian politician in Dubai called suspicious

Kurdpa - Ahmad Rezaei, a U.S. Citizen and the elder son of Mohsen Rezaei (a prominent Iranian conservative who ran against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2009) has died in a hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in an apparent suicide, according to a police official.
Mohsen Rezaei is the secretary of Iran\'s powerful Expediency Council, and a council\'s official has told Mehr News Agency that Ahmad Rezaii\'s death in Gloria Hotel is \"suspicious.
Tabnak website, associated with Mohsen Rezaei, has published the news with a headline saying the suspicious death of Aahmad Rezaei happened at the same time that a group of Mohsen Rezaei\'s comrades were martyred. This refers to the blast on Saturday in a military base in western suburbs of Tehran where 17 personnel of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps were killed and many more injured (read report).
In 1998, Ahmad Rezaei, defected to the United States and lived there while openly criticizing the Iranian rulers. He returned to Iran in 2005.
