A Kurdish journalist arrested in Mariwan

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): A Kurdish journalist, from the city of Mariwan, was arrested by Iranian intelligence forces.
According to reliable reports, a Kurdish journalist, Mohammad Rastegar Karimi, was arrested by Iranian intelligence forces.
Having inspected Mohammad’s house without showing any legal permission, Iranian forces confiscated Mohammad’s private belongings such as laptop, mobile phone and camera.
According to a source close to the arrested, Iranian intelligence forces has arrested him due his published articles criticizing the government.
Mohammad Rastegar Karimi has during his career worked for semi-official news agencies like Mehr News, Zrebar Khabar and Hamshahri.
