A Kurdish civil activist was sentenced to 30 months incarceration

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish civil activist from Sardasht was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court in Mahabad.

According to Kurdpa News Agency an appeal tribunal in the Court Number Ten in West Azerbaijan Province where Khalilzad is the head of the court, was confirmed two and an half years imprisonment for Pishwa Saleh-Zadeh. This verdict had previously been issued by Revolutionary court number two in Mahabad.

This Kurdish citizen has been accused of canvassing against Iranian Islamic Government and also affiliation with a Kurdish opposition group. He was arrested on 25/2/2015 by intelligent officers in Mahabad.After spending 50 days in solidarity confinement he was then temprarily released on 150 million Toman bail.

He is executive member of NGO is called Tiroj. He was also running News and Critical website in the name of Sharo. On 25/09/2015 Secretary -General of the United Nation announced a new report on violating Human Rights in Iranian Islamic Government. In this report Ban Ki- moon has addressed that civil and political activist are still incarcerated in Rouhani administration .
